I’m an anatomic pathologist at the University of California, Davis, where I am also the director of cytology.
I grew up in Vermont, where I attended Middlebury College and the University of Vermont College of Medicine. I did an Anatomic Pathology residency at Stanford University, where I did gastrointestinal pathology and cytopathology fellowships. My first job post-training was at the University of Kentucky, where I practiced general surgical pathology and cytopathology and started developing these notes for my resident teaching sessions.
I have a sincere interest in all things surgical pathology. I also really enjoy teaching!
When I’m not enjoying pathology, you can find me spending time with my family or exploring the Sierra Nevada Mountains, ideally on a pair of skis. I also love reading non-pathology books too, running, and cooking.
