COMMENT: Histologic sections of the pancreas demonstrate a ***-type intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm with ***-grade dysplasia. The entire lesion has been submitted for histologic evaluation and no invasive carcinoma is identified.

  – Intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm, *** cm, excised

  – Intraductal tubulopapillary neoplasm, *** cm, excised

  – Mucinous cystic neoplasm, *** cm, excised 

  – Serous cystadenoma, *** cm, excised 

  – Invasive adenocarcinoma, ***-differentiated, ***cm, excised (see comment)

COMMENT: Histologic sections of the whipple specimen demonstrate an invasive ***-differentiated adenocarcinoma. [Mention perineural invasion, LVI, positive lymph nodes, margins, etc.. if involved] 

 

  – Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor, *** cm, WHO grade ***,  excised

  – Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm

  – Acinar cell carcinoma

  – Pancreatoblastoma

  – Adenosquamous carcinoma
